Parasitic Mechanisms is a jungle/drum and bass EP consisting of three tracks: Molecular Mimicry, Parasitic Mechanisms, and Protozoa. The EP is centered around the concept of parasitic mechanisms and was produced by the duo sar.casm and rarez.

Molecular Mimicry, the first track on the EP, explores the idea of parasites that are able to mimic the molecules of their host in order to avoid detection. The track starts off with a dark and brooding sound, before building up to a high-energy drum and bass beat. The use of menacing basslines and atmospheric synths creates a tense and suspenseful atmosphere, evoking the stealthy nature of molecular mimicry.

The title track, Parasitic Mechanisms, delves into the various ways that parasites manipulate their host. The track features complex drum patterns and intricate sound design, creating a chaotic and unpredictable soundscape. The use of samples adds to the eerie atmosphere, evoking the insidiousness of parasites.

Protozoa, the final track on the EP, focuses on the smallest and simplest of parasites: protozoa. The track features fast-paced drums and pulsing basslines, creating an energetic and frenetic sound. Again, the interesting samples and atmospheric synths adds to the sense of unease, evoking the microscopic scale of protozoa and their ability to wreak havoc on their host.
